Computer-generated content in magazines, blogs and newspapers becoming the new norm



Steve Lohr over at The New York Times reports that a company called Narrative Science is finding success with their complex code, based on 10 years of research, which takes statistics from sports, financial markets and so on, and automatically generates news articles.

“In five years, a computer program will win a Pulitzer Prize" boasts Kris Hammond (pictured left), co-founder of Narrative Science, "and I’ll be damned if it’s not our technology.”
